If your religious, supernatural, or faith based claims and arguments have been debunked and invalidated, often thousands of times throughout history, and you know this, then it is time to recognize that no one can have good justification for continuing to hold a belief in something that has been sufficiently undermined.
Also recognize that it is impossible to keep believing something if you are no longer convinced it’s true and think it could be false, especially if you are being intellectually honest…. At least the very fact that you are here checking out this site, now means you can no longer claim ignorance.
People who claim there are no real atheists, like Ray Comfort, and try to make the argument that we all just choose to disbelieve, are ignoring that belief is a matter of being convinced. At the same time they often repeat fallacious questions that have been answered for them over and over again, and instead of accepting the well explained and supported answers that have been given thousands of times going back centuries, they continue to ask the same questions as though they were not aware of the answers given. They are being intentionally obtuse and intellectually dishonest.
Don’t be a liar. Don’t continue to support religious beliefs you know are likely false, and which have been shown to have negative consequences that outweigh positive effects. Don’t be a believer!
